Located along the beautiful Rocky Mountain Front in Fairfield, Montana; Mountain View Canvas is a family business specializing in custom products.  Mountain View Canvas uses only top-of-the-line materials for their tents; such as water repellant and mildew-resistant Sunforger canvas and 6.2 oz. Urethane backed nylon pack cloth. The tents can be canvas, nylon pack cloth or a combination of canvas roof and nylon pack cloth sides and ends. Other products offered are Cordura nylon panniers and top packs, nylon pack cloth tent flies, mantie tarps, canvas sleeping bag covers and more.

    Karen and Mark Hansen started the business in March 1984, so Mark could have his own wall tent.  Karen has more than 35 years experience as a professional seamstress.  Mark has used wall tents for his own hunting camp  for over 25 years.  Karen consults Mark on all things hunting.
